India VS Pakistan : ICC Twenty-20 World Cup Final

Both the teams who took an early exit from the world cup 2007 are into the finals of Twenty-Twenty World Cup. Isn't it really great and a cracking statement made by both the teams to those who criticised them during the world cup.

But, Did u ever thought of it...India Vs Pakistan World Cup Final match. Well, I did but in dreams only and its like dream coming true.

Cricket match between India and Pakistan has always been exciting. Remember the last match played between them in this world cup where the match actually tied (though India was winner but both the teams scored same runs).

Every team would like to win the world cup finals but what is it thats going to make this match more interesting.

Pakistan would be looking for a revenge of their beat by Indians formerly in this world cup and India, who has never lost any match against Pakistan in the world cup would try their best to keep it going like this. Plus the rivalry between the two teams has always been an Oomph factor in their matches.

So, this time finals is not going to be just a matter of who is going to take the world cup but a lot more.

Wat a match its going to be. Whoever wins, a whole lot of entertainment is expected.

Hurray!! India hits again and this time against champions Australia.

India won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 188 runs losing 5 wickets. Though the score was good but champions are champions and they could have turn up the game anytime. Nothing is enough for the aussies.

Australia gave a slow start, rather say not a start that was expected from the Austrailian side and they lost couple of early wickets. But Hayden and Symonds fixed their feet on the ground and were taking match away from the Indians. This was the time actually I first thought that India will loose this match. But thanks to Sreesanth who got Hayden out and match started turning towards India once again. Another danger man Andrew Symonds got out soon after Hayden.

30 rums was required in 3 overs but Indian bowlers didn't gave aussies any chance and won by 15 runs.

Here is the final score card for you.

India Into Semi Finals : South Africa Out of ICC 20-20 World Cup

Isn't it shocking to know that South Africa is out of ICC Twenty-Twenty World Cup. Unbeaten throughout, a single lose has made South Africa out of the tournament. And once again its India turning all ups and downs.

India didn't have a good start and lost few early wickets and without Yuvraj Singh it was looking tough for the Indians to reach a decent score to defend themselves. However, parnership between Rohit Sharma and Indian skipper Dhoni helped India to score 153 runs which was a decent total with such a pitch conditions.

In the bowling side Indian get off to a flying start taking few early wickets which build pressure on the African batsman. 126 runs was required by them to qualify for the semi finals but they could not because of which New Zealand qualified for the semi finals.

R.P.Singh bowled tremendously well and took 4 wickets.

Rohit Sharma got Man of the Match award for his wonderful 50 and one run out.

Yuvraj Singh's New Record : 6 Sixes in 6 balls Plus Fastest 50 : Watch Video

Yuvraj Singh made a new record by becoming the first player in a Twenty20 International to hit six sixes in an over. The first delivery from England bowler Stuart Broad was hit out of the Kingsmead stadium which followed with five more sixes one after another.

Hitting 50 in just 12 balls has created another record of fastest 50 in the Twenty20 Cricket.

Just before he started off with the sixes, Yuvraj had few words of exchange with Andrew Flintoff which is considered to be the reason which heated him up to hit sixes. However, when asked by Yuvraj he said after being hit 5 sixes in 6 balls in the 49th over of one day international against England, Yuvraj was looking for some similar opportunity and he finshed it off well.

Yuvraj also got Man of the Match awards for his tremendous innings.

Congratulations to Yuvraj Singh.
